Dr. Elina Kariyeva is a compassionate and caring general dentist focused on serving all of your dental needs. She is trained to perform routine dental treatments as well as endodontics, periodontal surgery, implant placement, and is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Kariyeva grew up in Queens, NY and graduated with honors in Neuroscience and Psychology from CUNY Queens College. During her time at Queens College she conducted drug research and had her work published in a peer reviewed journal of psychopharmacology. In 2018, Dr. Kariyeva received her dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry where she excelled in all her courses and patient care. She went on to complete a general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Queens, with a focus in trauma, surgery and endodontics.
Dr. Kariyeva is able to connect interpersonally with patients of many cultural and ethnical backgrounds given that she speaks fluently in English, Russian and is conversational in Spanish. Her professional work ethic, warmth, and compassion allows Dr. Kariyeva's patients to feel calm, comfortable, and at ease receiving quality dental work.
When Dr. Elina Kariyeva is not at the dental office, she spends time with her friends and family, writes poetry and enjoys relaxing yet challenging sessions of hot yoga.
